"I cannot believe it! Before we even set off along the Great Ocean Road, we stop to collect our stuff from the hostel and there's a guy taking a picture of the camper on his mobile. As we were traveling from Melbourne to Geelong, a guy on his motorbike slowed right down, nodded at us both, did a wheelie and sped off!
Our first night was great, we found a spot by a lovely bay in Queenscliff. That's what you call a room with a sea view. We are traveling from Melbourne to Adelaide along Great Ocean Road and the up to the Grampions, back down and then along the coast.
We are in the middle of our trip and so far it has been great. I can't believe the amount of things we have seen in such a short time. We stay in Caravan Parks and meet lots of nice people and just park up wherever we can.
We are due to give the van back today. My partner and I are both going to miss her. The best thing about the camper is not worrying where you are going to sleep.
The strangest experience is when we got woken up at 3 in the morning by the police. We had parked up on a hill called the Bluff in Victor Harbour, not realizing we were in a National Park. But they were really cool about it and let us stay the night. We are off to find work now and save up for another trip"
