Hello Wicked people!

By the time you read this I am already on the other side of the world. Maybe Asia, maybe Holland. Our trip to Australia was a once in a life-time experience. My Boyfriend (Tom) and I had been working full time for some years, but we really felt the need to get away to explore the world. So we did! We quit our jobs and planned our seven month journey. Australia was #1 on our list.

We planned Australia quickly, Wicked and the Lonely Planet was all we needed. One of my best friends travelled also with a wicked van and she really recommended it. We booked our van on the internet nice and easy. We were very curious what we would get, but we had to be patient. Flew from Holland to Singapore and then to Cairns. It was time to get our van. cool.. The Rolling Stones van!!!! With the slogan on the back door "I'll take you places that you've never seen, start it up" that sounded good. In the van there was everything you needed like a gas cooker, coolbox, small chairs, blankets, plates... we only purchased a CD to play.. The Rolling Stones of course!

We drove all the way along the East Coast from Cairns to Melbourne and the Great Ocean Rd. To tell you everything we have seen and experiences would take too much time but I can tell you it was great and Mick Jagger kept his word. He took us places that we've never seen. You drive your van, stop and picnic wherever you like. You can swim butt naked, because it's just the two of you on the beach. Make your dinner on the gas cooker and it tastes great because you made it in the middle of nowhere. It was a great adventure in a great country. All I can say is, go for it, see it yourself - it's Wicked.
